Hi......well the month of January flew by....I arrived in Chicago on January 4th....spent two hectic weeks packing and cleaning and then headed out for Florida....and the blog tells the rest of the story. January 27th came all too soon. Paul and I spent Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Trawlerfest, which for the non-boaters in this group....is a gathering of people who love to cruise for a few days of fun and education. We had a wonderful time....Paul went to all of the advanced classes and I went to the boating basics classes....for example....how to communicate via marine radio for emergencies and for information....I took a class in marine medicine....or "how to stay un-nauseated while you cruise"....and we both sat in on the diesal engine class....Paul got some tips on cruising the InterCoastal Waterway or the ICW....and we me some awesome people....I am going to upload some pictures now....and hope not to loose them...
This one is morning light....and the splash under the dock is caused by a manetee coming up for air...
